Geologist by trade, curious by nature, and writing wherever I am.
I’ve been on this earth for 35 years, and I still don’t know:

- Where I want to live

Writing is how I figure this all out, and I hope my writing serves you in doing the same. I’m so grateful you’re here.

- 2013 – Walked to Camino De Santiago de Compostela in Spain
- 2013 – Moved to Spain to teach English
- 2017 – Moved to San Francisco to study Geology
- 2018 – Lived in my truck to get through graduate school
- 2019 – Bike packed across Nevada in the summer
- 2020 – Completed a Masters of Science in Geology
- 2021 – Ran across the Grand Canyon, and then ran back
- 2023 – Bought a Condo in Anchorage, Alaska
- 2024 – Completed a NOLS mountaineering course in Alaska
- 2025 – Quit my stable job
- 2025 – Spent a month exploring how people live in rural India
- 2025 – Trekked to Everest Base Camp
- 2025 – Spent a month obsessed with scuba diving in the Philippines
- 2025 – Attended a 10-day Vipassana Meditation retreat in Cambodia
- 2025 – Ran a half marathon around Angkor Watt, in Cambodia
- 2026 – Accepted a summer guide position for NOLS Alaska
- 2026 – IM WRITING A BOOK!! But what about? I DON’T KNOW…. YET.
